American Cancer Society Golf Tournament

I played golf in the American Cancer Society Golf Tournament at the Serrano Country Club. The foursome included the CEO and COO of Sutter Physician Services and a doctor. It was not a very good day for golf. It sprinkled off and on over the first nine holes and then rained hard for two holes before letting up.

I have not picked up a club since last August. As you would expect, I was wildly inconsistent; I had a few very nice shots and a number of really horrible shots.

This will serve as a nice warm-up for the weekend. I am playing golf for two days with a group of about 20 people. The outing is organized by one of the coaches of the Outlaws, Jack's tournament baseball team.
