Over the years, I have been a big fan of ESPN's Bill Simmons columns and podcasts. Last week, he launched a new website that will be 70% sports and 30% pop culture. While it will be fully owned by ESPN, it will not carry the ESPN brand.
The website is called Grantland.
Grantland Rice (November 1, 1880 – July 13, 1954) was an early 20th century American sportswriter known for his elegant prose. His writing was published in newspapers around the country and broadcast on the radio.
