Catching an Uber, Sharon and I headed to Canon East Sacramento. We met the Renterias and Alan Wackman and his girlfriend Heather for an early dinner. We split a number of small plates, including: Kusshi Oysters, a citrus salad, wheatberry grain bowl, roasted beets, roasted sunchokes and Adobe fried chicken. Alan brought a couple of bottles from their winery.
After dinner, we all wandered to SacYard. We got there to watch the last minute of the Kings versus Thunder basketball game. With Buddy Hield guarding Paul George, George missed a three-pointer at the buzzer and the Kings won by the score of 119 to 116. Sharon and I eventually caught an Uber home.
