Over the last twenty-five years, Sharon and I have lived into a rhythm of decorating the house for fall, Christmas, Valentine's Day and Easter. After we take the Easter decorations down, we have started calling it "Ordinary Time." Sharon has few summer decorations. This lasts about four months from Easter to Labor Day.
With Sharon and Tom's trip to New York Adventure and our Greece and Turkey Trip, we only started decorating the house for fall today. Still feeling under the weather, I spent the morning dragging boxes back from the shed. With the fall dinner party in two weeks, we have a sense of urgency.
