With Janie on the West Coast, Sharon and Janie spent the day in Napa. They wine tasted at Ram's Gate Winery, shopped at the outlets in Napa and had dinner at Ad Hoc.
The Ad Hoc menu for Thursday evening included: Broccolini Salad [burrata, cremini mushrooms, kalamata olives, red onions, frisée, sherry vinaigrette]; Chicken Piccata [roasted carrots, pappardelle pasta, lemon caper sauce]; Toma Piemontese [maldon flatbread, extra virgin olive oil & balsamic vinegar], and; Spiced Pumpkin Mousse [shortbread crumble, toasted meringue]. Sharon was less than enthusiastic about the dinner; She said "I have had better there."
