Thursday afternoon, Debbie, Jim, Sharon and I played nine holes at Ancil Hoffman. We teed off at 3:32 pm.
Warming up on the driving range, I felt good. I am working hard on a completely different swing. Over the course of the afternoon, I was pretty happy with how I was striking the ball. I am still inconsistent, but I feel like I am working in the right direction.
Starting to feel a little cocky, I made a mess around the greens on holes seven and eight. I finished with a fairly honestly scored 55. I played the whole round with one ball...
The four of us finished the day with dinner at Matteos. I had a Blackened Shrimp and Mango Salad [Avocado, Pickled Red Onions, Feta, Cherry Tomatoes, Over Chopped Romaine and Mixed Greens, Topped with a Mango Salsa and tossed in a Citrus Vinaigrette], while Sharon had Lamb Burger [Pink Peppercorn and Cumin Seasoned Fresh Ground Leg of Lamb Burger with Feta Cheese, Chimichurri Aioli, House Pickles, Red Onion, Tomato and Arugula, Served with Fries].
