On Day 47, I rode 16.9 miles across Wyoming. It was a fast downhill ride. Starting from the Willow Springs Pony Express Station [42° 40' 28.06", 106° 47' 35.26"], I rode northeast along the Oregon Trail. I turned east on Iron Creek Road (County Road 308) and rode to the North Platte River. I stopped on the western bank of the North Platte River at Bessemer Bend.
