For the second year in a row, Jack competed in the Sacramento Diocese Academic Decathlon. With 27 schools competing, the decathlon included teams events in logic and super quiz and individual events in religion, english, science, math, social studies, fine arts, literature and current events. Jack competed in the social studies individual competition as well as the team events.
SEAS beat St. Ignatius and St. John Evangelist in a very exciting super quiz competition. Trailing most of the event, SEAS won the super quiz on the last question.
Jack finished fourth in the social studies competition and SEAS finished fourth overall.
