Sunday night, Sharon and I watched "CBS Presents Oprah with Meghan and Harry." Watching the interview, I had three observations. First, I was fascinated at how deliberately Harry answered questions. He would take a second to answer and provide short crisp responses. Harry has spent his life under a microscope...
Second, Harry noting that his father stopped taking his calls made me think of season four of The Crown. The season paints Charles as a spoiled, petulant adult. While The Crown is a fictional drama, Harry's statement re-enforced my impression of Charles as an unsympathetic character.
Finally, both Harry and Meghan were extremely careful about what they said about Queen Elizabeth. They had nothing but positive comments and praise for her and Prince Philip. As a footnote, I really enjoyed the book that I read about Philip's life before he married Elizabeth.
