Dinner with the Gainsleys

We met the Gainsleys for dinner outside at Piatti. I was shocked at the number of tables and space heaters that they had set up outside.

Sharon and I split an antipasta Fritto misto [jumbo prawns, olives, lemon, cauliflower, calabrian chili aïoli]. We both had Cast iron king salmon [cauliflower, nantes carrots, sunchokes, charred lemon and green olive salmoriglio] for an entree. I brought a bottle of Donum 2018 Three Hills Pinot Noir that we got last Sunday.
