I particularly enjoyed the run because the terrain was very similar to the descriptions of the countryside in the book that I read while we were on the trip: The Last of the Mohicans.

Ostdawa Run
On Tuesday while we were at Cooperstown, I ran on the trails outside the house that we were renting. Although the trails were very wet from all of the rain, I had a great run. I came across deer and wild turkeys. In less than 1.5 miles, the trail climbed almost 500 feet to the top of the ridge, including two particularly steep sections. Although a fairly short run, my legs were sore for a week afterward.
I particularly enjoyed the run because the terrain was very similar to the descriptions of the countryside in the book that I read while we were on the trip: The Last of the Mohicans.
