Sharon, Jack and I went to the Spring Sports Banquet at the Fr. Barry Gym. It included the Baseball, Tennis, Swimming, Diving, Track & Field and Volleyball teams. After short speeches by the athletic director and principle and a pasta dinner, the teams broke up into separate rooms. The freshman baseball team went to the music room in the Harris Center.
Coach Bittle talked a little about the year. He then reviewed each boys accomplishments and gave them a certificate. After the individual acknowledgments, three awards with plaques were given for the season: Jared - MVP; Jordan - Most Inspirational; and, Sam - Most Improved.
One footnote: It looks like at least one other Jesuit Frosh player (Nick) will be joining the Walbeck 15U team.
