Sharon, Jack and I went to Argo at the Century 14 Theaters on Arden.

The film is loosely based on Joshuah Bearman's 2007 article in Wired: How the CIA Used a Fake Sci-Fi Flick to Rescue Americans from Tehran. In real life, a CIA operative, Tony Mendez, led the rescue of six U.S. diplomats from Tehran, Iran during the 1979 Iran hostage crisis.

The film stars Ben Affleck as Mendez with Alan Arkin as Lester Siegel, a Hollywood director, and John Goodman as John Chambers, a famous make-up artist.

Although Sharon disagreed with me, I though that it was a little slow in a couple of places. Nevertheless, it is worth seeing!
