Sycamore Row by John Grisham

I finished reading Sycamore Row by John Grisham. Somewhat unbelievably, this is the 27th book by John Grisham that I have read in the last twenty-two years.

Sycamore Row is a sequel to his first novel, A Time to Kill. It is set three years later in the same small Mississippi town with the same key characters. I have always felt that A Time to Kill is one of Grisham's best books.

The plot of the story revolves around a contested will. There are lots of twists and turns in the story.

Unlike The Racketeer which caught me off guard with the plot shift, I had a general sense of where the story was going. Sycamore Row is a very well paced book with just enough clues to keep you guessing.

I gave the book a B+ and highly recommend it.
