Investigating practices by Sutter Health that led to higher California health care costs

From the middle of 1998 to early 2014, I worked for Sutter Health. The organization as it exists today really dates from the merger with CHS in 1996. It was interesting to be part of Sutter Health's drive to change from a set of affiliated hospitals to a tightly integrated delivery network. Sunday night's 60 Minutes segment paints a less than flattering picture of the impact on consumers of the end result.
