Washington DC Day 2

Wallen and I caught up with Nooter after our run and had a leisurely lunch of Mexican food.

After lunch, we headed out to the National Air and Space Museum's Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center and spent the afternoon wandering around there. The building is huge; it is 2 1/2 football fields long and 10 stories high. It houses over a 100 aircraft and spacecraft, including the space shuttle Enterprise, an SR-71 Blackbird and the Enola Gay. We finished the day at the museum watching the IMAX film Fighter Pilot: Operation Red Flag.

The adults went out for dinner at a Indian food restaurant called Haandi. It was midnight by the time we were back to the room.
