Firehouse Restaurant - Old Sacramento

At the end of September, we reorganized the division that I work in and filled out a number of open leadership positions. With the reorganization behind us, my boss took all of his direct reports to dinner at the Firehouse in Old Sacramento. We had dinner downstairs in the Wine Cellar #1 banquet room. Built in 1853 and originally home of "Sacramento No. 3," the Firehouse was the first building in Old Sacramento to be restored and is designated a historical landmark.

I had the Frutti di Mare (sautéed lobster tail, a Nigerian saltwater prawn, seared sea scallop on braised-fennel risotto), while Sharon had the rack of lamb. I need to start a running count of how often Sharon has rack of lamb!
