Growing up in a small rural town without older siblings, my exposure to popular music before college was somewhat limited. My first day of college I encountered a group of guys with stereo equipment and boxes of records. Over the next four years, I was introduced to an enormous variety of music. It is going to be difficult to pick just four songs to represent the four years of college. Nevertheless, one of the four guys that I lived with my freshman year played a lot of the Beach Boys, Bob Dylan (Hurricane, over and over again) and Marshall Tucker.
The Song for 1975 is Marshall Tucker's Fire on the Mountain.
