Saturday afternoon, the SEAS Eagles played St. Roberts in the Consolation Championship Game of the Christian Brothers Tournament. The Eagles beat St. Roberts in the first league in early January and then lost to St. Roberts four days later in the Jesuit Tournament.
The Eagles get in trouble when their shots don't fall; they seem to have games where nothing will drop. With the starting point guard shooting 0 for 11, SEAS shot 21% from the field. Trailing 19 to 15 at half-time, the Eagles got outscored 10 to 4 in the fourth quarter. Both teams scored 12 points in the fourth quarter.
The Eagles lost to St. Roberts by the score of 41 to 31. The box score is here.
Jack played 10 minutes of the 28 minute game. He was 1 for 3 from two point range and 0 for 2 from three point range for two points. Both of the three point shots were off the back iron in the fourth quarter when the Eagles were scrambling to close the ten point lead.
The SEAS Eagles now have 12 wins and 8 losses for the season. The game log is here.
The SEAS Eagles play St. Joseph of Auburn on Wednesday night in the first round of the season ending PAL tournament.
