Last year, Sharon and I got a Christmas Tree at Bambi's Christmas Trees at Douglas and South Harding. They had a wide assortment of large trees, they flock trees and they deliver. We ended up buying a tree tagged as 11 to 12 feet.
We went back to Bambi's midday on Wednesday. They were just getting the lot geared up. With Thanksgiving so late this year and the Deterding Ranch party on Friday night, December 6, there was no way that we could pick out a tree, have it flocked, delivered and decorated in time for the party. We ended up buying a tree tagged as 10 to 11 feet. It will be delivered Monday afternoon, December 2.
This will be only the second time since 2003 that we haven't had a flocked tree. We didn't have a flocked tree was 2012.
