On day 62, I rode 24.6 miles across Nebraska and into the northeastern corner of Colorado. Starting in Lodgepole, I followed Highway 385 into Julesburg, Colorado. I finished the ride at the Overland City Pony Express Station [40° 59' 8.52", 102° 15' 48.83"].
I never realized that the Pony Express went through the corner of the state of Colorado. I will be back in Nebraska the next time I ride.
