The Walbeck Elite 15U played Yuba City in the first game of a double header at Appeal Democrat Field in Marysville. I hate it when Jack plays and I am not there watching. Jack played right field and batted seventh.
At the plate, Jack was 0 for 1 with two walks and two runs scored. In his first at-bat, he walked on four straight balls. Jack advanced to second on Pyles' single to center, to third on Ingersoll's walk and scored on Gross' fielder's choice. He struck out swinging on a 2 and 2 pitch in his second plate appearance. Jack walked on five pitches to lead off the bottom of the sixth. He went to second on Pyles' single to left, to third on Ingersoll's ground out and scored on an error on Clarke's grounder to the first baseman.
In the field, Jack played six innings in right field. He had one put-out.
