Heringer Boulevard

Every year, Jack's school auctions off the street sign in front of school as a fund raiser. I have bid on it in the past, but have always been outbid by someone with deeper pockets. At last year's dinner and auction, I was not planning to bid on the sign. I had spent the money I had earmarked for sign on a pitching machine.

When the item came up during the live auction, there were two quick very cheap bids. I made a snap decision to jump into the bidding. At this point, no one else bid! I was more than a little dumbfounded. In the past, the sign had sold for more than eight times what I had bid for it. I won the auction!

Sharon, Phil and Marlene had been deep in conversation and not paying any attention to me. Sharon was very surprised when she realized I had won the sign, but gave the purchase a thumb's up given how little I had paid for it.

Ugly Loss to end the season (2011 PAL Varsity Comp Basketball SEAS versus St. John Evangelist)

The SEAS Eagles played St. John Evangelist in the second round of the season ending PAL tournament at Jesuit High School. SEAS lost to SJE in the Christian Brothers Basketball Tournament two weeks ago and lost to SJE in the flag football semi-final game last fall. SJE has not lost a varsity basketball game this season!

It was an ugly game. SJE is very tall and extremely physical. SEAS did a poor job of running their offense. They had a lot of shots blocked by the taller SJE players and missed the open shots that they did get. At the end of the first quarter, the Eagles trailed SJE by the score of 11 to 0. It did not get any better from there.

The SEAS starters scored one basket in the first half. With two more baskets in garbage time in the fourth quarter, the starters shot 3 for 24. Overall, SEAS ended up shooting 17% from the field, 6 for 35.

SJE flattened SEAS by the score of 39 to 15. This is the fewest points that SEAS has scored in any game this season. The box score is here.

Jack ended up playing only 4 minutes of the 28 minute game; this is the fewest minutes that he has played in any game this season. He was 0 for 1 from three point range. Jack had one personal foul running down a fast break. He made a nice move along the baseline with a bounce pass to Anthony, but Anthony missed the point blank shot.

The SEAS Eagles finished the season with 13 wins and 9 losses. The game log is here.

It was not a very satisfying end to the basketball season. Nevertheless, at dinner afterwards, Jack was already talking about and looking forward to next season when he will be an eighth grader!

2011 PAL Varsity Comp Basketball SEAS versus St. Joseph's

The SEAS Eagles played in the first round of the season ending PAL tournament against St. Joseph's of Auburn at St. John Evangelist School. Somewhat disappointingly, the Eagles were seeded eighth out of the sixteen teams in the tournament. With a 6 win and 1 loss record in league, I had hoped that the Eagles would be seeded a couple of spots higher. St. Joseph's was seeded ninth.

It was extremely close game. Until midway through the third quarter, the largest lead by either team was 3 points. At this point, St. Joseph's opened a five point lead on a couple of three point shots. The Eagles clawed right back to take a 1 point lead at the beginning of the fourth quarter and then clung to a 1 or 2 point lead through the fourth quarter. St. Joseph's kept the game close by hitting a number of key free throws.

Although they only fielded 7 players, St. Joseph's had a couple of tall skilled players. They passed and moved without the ball very well. Their best player (#14) scored 17 points.

SEAS won a nail bitter by the score of 36 to 35. The box score is here.

Jack ended up playing 9 minutes of the 28 minute game. He was 1 for 3 from two point range for two points. Jack added two rebounds, one offensive and one defensive, and one turnover. He played some key minutes in the fourth quarter with the Eagles clinging to a lead.

The SEAS Eagles now have 13 wins and 8 losses for the season. The game log is here.

The Eagles will play St. John Evangelist (SJE) on Saturday afternoon in the second round of the PAL tournament. SJE is the top seeded team. I believe that they are undefeated this season. The Eagles lost to them in the Christian Brothers Tournament two weeks ago.

ESPN 30 for 30 Ranking

I really enjoyed ESPN's 30 for 30 documentary film series.  I previously published an episode guide here.

My ranking of the films is shown below. I am going to rewatch of a number of these as I run on the treadmill and may change the order after I have a chance to watch a number of them a second time. ESPN also has a page that shows a consensus ranking of almost 6,000 people who watched the series.

2011 Outlaws Baseball Tournament #2 Day #3

After the first two days of the Super Series President's Day Tournament, the Outlaws were seeded 6th out of 12 teams. The Outlaws played the Golden Spikes in the first game of the elimination round of the tournament. The Outlaws have not faced the Golden Spikes before.

In a series of heated discussions, I made Jack switch to a lighter bat. Given his struggles at the bat over the last ten days, I felt like he needed to do something to switch things up. It seemed to help in the first game.

At the plate, Jack was 1 for 2 with a sacrifice fly, reached on an error, a bunt single and three RBIs. In his first at-bat with Jeremy at third and no outs, Jack drove a 1 and 2 pitch deep into centerfield for a sacrifice fly and a RBI. He hit the first pitch of his second plate appearance sharply to the shortstop. Aaron scored from third for Jack's second RBI. The shortstop bobbled the ball and Jack was safe at first. Jack stole second, but ended the inning there. In his third at-bat with Jeremy again at third, Jack had a bunt single on a 0 and 1 pitch to score Jeremy for his third RBI.

In the field, Jack played sixth innings at third base. He had two assists and a put-out. In the bottom of the second with one out and a runner on second, the batter hit a fly ball to right field. Ian made the catch and threw a strike to Jack at third to get the runner tagging up and trying to go to third. Jack fielded two grounders to the left side cleanly and threw the runners out at first. This included a nice play on a slow roller hit just pass the pitcher to end the game.

In the bottom of the fourth with one out and runners on first and second, a ball was hit to Aaron's right at shortstop. With the runner going in front of him, Aaron got to the ball and flipped it to Jack at third. The ball and runner got there about the same time and the ball rolled away. I asked Scott at the time whose error it was and he said that he thought it was not an error. After the game taking Jack and Aaron to lunch, I asked them whose error it was. They both tried to claim it was their error which lead to a lively debate between the two of them both trying to claim responsibility the error.

The Outlaws beat the Golden Spikes by the score of 6 to 1 and advanced to the semi-final game of the tournament. The box score is here.

The Outlaws played the Sluggers in the semi-final game. The Outlaws have beaten the Sluggers on three previous occasions. Unfortunately, the Outlaws burned most of their front line pitching to get this far in the tournament.

At the plate, Jack returned to his struggles. He struck out twice on 2 and 2 counts. The Sluggers pitcher threw an 83 pitch complete game and had 9 strike-outs.

In the field, Jack played five innings at third base. He had one assist. In the third inning with out and a runner on a second, a grounder was hit to the left side. Jack came up with the ball looking at first base. He then swiveled towards second catching the runner trying to advance towards third. The runner was got in a run down and Bailey, the center fielder, eventually applied the tag.

The Outlaws pitching got hit hard and the Outlaws got flattened by the score of 11 to 3 in five innings. The box score is here.

The Outlaws have 3 wins and 5 losses for the Spring 2011 season. The game log is here.

2011 Outlaws Baseball Tournament #2 Day #2

The Outlaws were back at the Woodland Sports Complex Sunday morning for a 10 a.m. game against Bulldog Baseball. The Outlaws got flattened by Bulldog Baseball last February. After losing two close games on Saturday, their chances of advancing to the elimination round on Monday seemed slim.

At the plate, Jack was 0 for 1 with a walk, a run scored and a strike-out. In his first at-bat, he walked on six pitches. Jack scored from first on Josh's triple to right center. He struck out swinging on a 2 and 2 count in his second plate appearance. In the fifth inning, Jordan was substituted for Jack and reached base on an error by the second baseman. Jack was substituted back into the game for Jordan. He went to second on a passed ball and third on a wild pitch, but ended the inning at third base when Josh struck out.

In the field, Jack played six innings at third base. I love to watch Jack play third. He had five assists on grounders to the left side and throws to first base to get the runners. In the fourth inning, Jack fielded three straight grounders ranging both to his right and to his left and threw out the runners.

With Josh throwing an 82 pitch complete game, the Outlaws won the game by the score of 6 to 1. The box score is here.

The Outlaws have 2 wins and 4 losses for Spring 2011 season. The game log is here.

The Outlaws ended up seeded sixth out of twelve teams and will be back to play the Golden Spikes on Monday in the elimination round of the tournament.

2011 Outlaws Baseball Tournament #2 Day #1

Leaving the Consolation Game of the Christian Brothers basketball tournament on Saturday afternoon, Jack and I hustled to Woodland. The Outlaws are playing in a 12 team Super Series President's Weekend Baseball Tournament.

The Outlaws played the Cepeda Giants in the first game of the tournament. The Outlaws have not played the Giants before.

In hindsight, I probably pushed Jack too hard over the last two weekends. With basketball and baseball tournaments both weekends, Jack has looked he has never seen a baseball bat before. At the plate against the Giants, Jack was 0 for 3 with three strike-outs. He struck out swinging on a full count in his first at-bat. In his next two at-bats, Jack struck out looking on identical counts of 2 and 2.

In the field, Jack played six innings at first base. He had five put-outs on throws from the pitcher, second baseman and shortstop. Aaron started a double play in the fourth inning by tagging the runner going to second and throwing to Jack at first base.

The Outlaws left 10 runners on base. Twice they had the bases loaded with less than two outs and twice they had runners on second and third with less than two outs.

The Outlaws gave up only one hit, but walked the lead-off runner to start the inning twice. The Outlaws lost the game by the score of 2 to 1. The box score is here.

On a very cold night with the tournament running over an hour late, the Outlaws played Bandit Baseball in the second game. The Outlaws lost to Bandit Baseball twice in tournaments in January and February of last year.

Jack continued to struggle at the plate. In his first and only at-bat, he struck out looking on a 2 and 1 count. With Jack struggling and upset with himself, the coaches pulled him hoping he would settle down, but frankly he never did.

In the field, Jack played one inning at third base. He had a nice put-out on a ball hit right at his feet.

The Bandit pitcher threw a 89 pitch complete game and the Outlaws managed only one hit. The Outlaws lost to the Bandits by the score of 3 to 1. The box score is here.

The Outlaws have 1 win and 4 losses for Spring 2011 season. The game log is here.

The Outlaws will play the Bulldogs on Sunday morning.

2011 PAL Varsity Comp Basketball SEAS versus St. Roberts

Saturday afternoon, the SEAS Eagles played St. Roberts in the Consolation Championship Game of the Christian Brothers Tournament. The Eagles beat St. Roberts in the first league in early January and then lost to St. Roberts four days later in the Jesuit Tournament.

The Eagles get in trouble when their shots don't fall; they seem to have games where nothing will drop. With the starting point guard shooting 0 for 11, SEAS shot 21% from the field. Trailing 19 to 15 at half-time, the Eagles got outscored 10 to 4 in the fourth quarter. Both teams scored 12 points in the fourth quarter.

The Eagles lost to St. Roberts by the score of 41 to 31. The box score is here.

Jack played 10 minutes of the 28 minute game. He was 1 for 3 from two point range and 0 for 2 from three point range for two points. Both of the three point shots were off the back iron in the fourth quarter when the Eagles were scrambling to close the ten point lead.

The SEAS Eagles now have 12 wins and 8 losses for the season. The game log is here.

The SEAS Eagles play St. Joseph of Auburn on Wednesday night in the first round of the season ending PAL tournament.

2011 PAL Varsity Comp Basketball SEAS versus St. Patricks

The SEAS Eagles played their sixth game in the Christian Brothers Tournament against St. Patricks. The Eagles beat the Tigers by the score of 38 to 31 in a league game about 10 days ago. Cooper, one of Jack's teammates on the Outlaws and Gunners for the last 2 1/2 years, plays for St. Patricks as the starting point guard.

St. Patricks best player, Brandon #24, kept the game close; he scored 16 points. Brandon also had five rebounds, two assists and a block. Cooper added 3 points on 1 for 3 from the field.

The Eagles leading scorers were Joe and Jack with 8 points each. Shooting 40% from the field, nine different SEAS players scored.

SEAS won a close game by the score of 39 to 35. The box score is here.

Jack ended up playing 9 minutes of the 28 minute game. He never got into the flow of the offensive and did not take a shot. Jack had one rebound.

The SEAS Eagles now have 12 wins and 7 losses for the season. The game log is here.

The Eagles will play St. Roberts in the Consolation Championship Game of the Christian Brothers Tournament on Saturday afternoon.

GROUP L: "Cost-Effective Building Blocks"

46. DeMarcus Cousins

So rarely in sports does someone live up to the hype. We thought Notorious D.M.C. could be a dominant scorer/rebounder AND a once-in-a-generation head case who immediately polarized fans and media members … yes and yes! In the past three weeks alone, he dropped a 27-10 on the Lakers, a 25-14 on Utah, a 19-15 on Dallas and a few punches on teammate Donte Greene's head, then subsequently got banned from a team plane and suspended. I want the opposite of a full refund for the DMC Experience. I'd like to pay twice. Let's run it back. And by the way? If I were a GM, I'd be calling Sacramento every day trying to get him. Repeat: Every day. You just never know when you might catch Geoff Petrie in a moment of weakness. It's coming.

GROUP J: "The Young Guns"

2011 PAL Varsity Comp Basketball SEAS versus Sacred Heart

The SEAS Eagles played their seventh and final league game of the season against Sacred Heart. They are scheduled to play on Saturday in the consolation bracket of the Christian Brothers Tournament.  The season ending tournament starts next Tuesday or Wednesday with the first round games played at St. John Evangelist.

Given that it was the last game that they will play at home in the new gym, the coach started and finished the game with the five eighth graders.

SEAS won the game by the score of 50 to 29. The box score is here.

Jack ended up playing 7 minutes of the 28 minute game. He was 1 for 2 from two point range for 2 points. Jack added two assists and one steal.

The SEAS Eagles now have 11 wins and 7 losses for the season. The game log is here.

2011 Outlaws Baseball Tournament #1 Day #2

After three basketball games on Saturday, I got Jack up a little before 6 a.m. on Sunday morning to play baseball with the Outlaws at Mather. After the pool play on Saturday, the Outlaws were seeded third and played the Concord Patriots. Several players on the Patriots played for the Concord Cal Ripken Team that Jack played against in July.

This is the first baseball game that Jack has played in almost three months. He looked very tentative at the plate. Jack was 0 for 2 with a walk and two strike-outs swinging. In the top of the first, Jack walked on six pitches. He stole second and ended the inning there when Josh struck out looking. In the top of the third, Jack struck out swinging on four pitches. In top of the fifth, he struck out swinging a second time on five pitches.

In the field, Jack played six innings in centerfield. He had one assist. In the top of bottom of the fifth with the bases loaded and one out, a soft fly ball dropped in front of Jack. The runner tried to score from second. Jack threw a strike to Trevor at catcher about chest high and a foot up the line. The runner was out by two steps. At the time, this play kept the tying run from scoring.

With the Outlaws leading 3 to 2 and two outs in the bottom of the sixth, the Patriots scored two runs on three singles and a walk to win the game by the score of 4 to 3. The box score is here.

The Outlaws have 1 win and 2 losses for Spring 2011 season. The game log is here.

The Outlaws will be playing in a tournament in Woodland over the three day weekend.

Valentine's Day 2011

I drove out to Roseville to see Sharon's new office and take her to lunch for Valentine's Day. Going up to the office before lunch was an odd experience. I saw a number of people that I have not seen in ten to fifteen years, including Ernie Hodges, Chris Doherty and Paul LaMothe. Norma Udell is also working for the same company and was also there.

Sharon and I had a nice lunch of fish tacos at Paul Martin's.

2011 PAL Varsity Comp Basketball SEAS versus Holy Family

The SEAS Eagles played their fifth game of the weekend in the Christian Brothers tournament against Holy Family. Holy Family had to play back-to-back games; they lost to OLA and then had to turn around and play SEAS.

After shooting 14% against St. Mary's, the Eagles shot 41% against Holy Family. Several players who were in a multi-game shooting slump started to make baskets.

Witht the second and third string playing lots of minutes, SEAS won the game by the score of 50 to 38. The box score is here.

Jack ended up playing 12 minutes of the 28 minute game. He was 2 for 3 from two point range and 1 for 2 from the free throw line for five points. Jack added one assist and one turnover. In a game plagued by fouls, Jack actually had four fouls. I thought that he might actually foul out!

The SEAS Eagles now have 10 wins and 7 losses for the season. The game log is here.

The Eagles will continuing playing in the consolation bracket of the Christian Brothers Tournament next Saturday.

2011 PAL Varsity Comp Basketball SEAS versus St. Mary's

The SEAS Eagles played their fourth game of the Christian Brothers tournament on Sunday afternoon against St. Mary's. The Eagles scrimmaged against St. Mary's in December.

As a team, the Eagles continued to struggle from the field. For the game, the Eagles shot 6 for 42 for 14.2%; the starters went 3 for 23 for 13%. St. Mary's has one very skilled guard who scored 26 points in less than 3 quarters of play. The result was a blow-out and the Eagles worst loss of the season.

St. Mary's beat the Eagles by the score of 45 to 23. The box score is here.

Jack ended up playing 9 minutes of the 28 minute game. He was 1 for 4 from two point range, 0 for 1 from three point range and 1 for 2 from the free throw line for three points. Jack added three rebounds and one turnover.

The SEAS Eagles now have 9 wins and 7 losses for the season. The game log is here.

2011 PAL Varsity Comp Basketball SEAS versus Holy Rosary

The SEAS Eagles played their third game of the day in the Christian Brothers tournament against Holy Rosary. The Eagles beat Holy Rosary in January by the score of 43 to 21.

With several of the SEAS players, including Jack, continuing to struggle from the field. The game was closer than the first meeting. Coming off the bench, Jacob hit a pair of threes and scored 10 points in the second half to push the Eagles ahead.

SEAS won the game by the score of 43 to 35. The box score is here.

Jack ended up playing 9 minutes of the 28 minute game. He was 1 for 5 from two point range for two points. Jack added one assist.

The SEAS Eagles now have 9 wins and 6 losses for the season. The game log is here.

The Eagles will play St. Mary's on Sunday afternoon in the next round of the tournament.

2011 PAL Varsity Comp Basketball SEAS versus St. John Evangelist

The SEAS Eagles played the second game of the Christian Brothers tournament against St. John Evangelist. The St. John Evangelist team is very tall. SEAS lost to SJE in the semi-finals of the flag football play-offs last fall. I noted at the time that the SJE players average 4 to 6 inches taller than the SEAS players.

I believe that the St. John Evangelist is undefeated. They won both the Jesuit and Presentation tournaments.

The Eagles ran out to a surprising 7 to 0 lead in the first quarter and led 9 to 6 at the end of the first quarter. Unfortunately, the roof fell in second quarter. SJE's size and the quality of their best player was just too much. The Eagles were outscored 20 to 8 in the second quarter to trail by the score of 26 to 17 at halftime. Ahead by the score of 38 to 28 at the beginning of the fourth quarter, SJE scored four quick baskets to put the game out of reach.

SEAS lost the game by the score of 51 to 28. The box score is here.

Jack ended up playing 5 minutes of the 28 minute game. He was 0 for 1 from three point range. Jack added one rebound and one steal.

The SEAS Eagles now have 8 wins and 6 losses for the season. The game log is here.

2011 PAL Varsity Comp Basketball SEAS versus St. John Vianney

The SEAS Eagles played the first game of the Christian Brothers tournament against St. John Vianney. The Christian Brothers tournament is a 15 team tournament over the next two weekends. It is an odd tournament format. At this point, no one is quite sure what the brackets look like or when the next game will be.

It was a very close game. With the Eagles leading by the score of 25 to 23 at the beginning of the fourth quarter, St. John Vianney's best player fouled out. One of their other good players then fouled out with a couple of minutes left in the game. After the two players fouled out, the Eagles opened up a small lead and were able to hang on for the victory.

SEAS won the game by the score of 42 to 37. The box score is here.

Jack ended up playing 8 minutes of the 28 minute game. He was 0 for 1 from two point range. Jack added two offensive rebounds.

The SEAS Eagles now have 8 wins and 5 losses for the season. The game log is here.

2011 PAL Varsity Comp Basketball SEAS versus St. Patricks

The SEAS Eagles played their sixth league game against St. Patricks. Both teams came into the game with league records of 4 wins and 1 loss. Cooper, one of Jack's teammates on the Outlaws and Gunners for the last 2 1/2 years, plays for St. Patricks as the starting point guard.

SEAS had a very balanced attack. Nine different Eagles players scored points. No player had more than six points and seven SEAS players scored between 4 and 6 points.

In contrast, St. Patricks relied heavily on Cooper and Brandon. Cooper had 10 points, while Brandon scored 15 points. Brandon scored about half his points late in fourth quarter against the SEAS second and third strings. Cooper and Brandon accounted for 25 of the 31 points that St. Patricks scored.

SEAS won the game by the score of 38 to 31. The box score is here.

Jack ended up playing 10 minutes of the 28 minute game. He was 2 for 3 from two point range for 4 points. Jack had one other basket waved off due to a three second lane violation on the center. He added one offensive rebound and one turnover.

The SEAS Eagles now have 7 wins and 5 losses for the season. The game log is here.

California Historical Landmark #815

The agricultural settlement of pioneer Japanese immigrants who arrived at Gold Hill on June 8, 1869-the only tea and silk farm established in California-had a promising outlook but failed tragically in less than two years. This was the initial Japanese-influenced agricultural attempt in California.

Green Hornet 3D

Laguna Village United ArtistsSharon has been talking for the last couple of weeks about going to see 127 Hours. Although it is nominated for an academy award, I have no interest seeing it. While she went to see 127 Hours, Jack and I saw the Green Hornet 3D. The Green Hornet is not very good; I would not even recommend it as a movie to see on DVD. I don't get trend towards 3D movies. I don't think that 3D added much to this movie. I have some memories of seeing the short-lived Green Hornet television series in the 1960's starring Bruce Lee. I am going to have to seen if I can find the television series on DVD.

California Historical Landmark #475

This rich mining camp was established on the banks of Hangtown Creek in the spring of 1848. Millions in gold were taken from its ravines and hills, and it served as a supply center for mining camps and transportation terminus for the famous Comstock Lode. John M. Studebaker, Mark Hopkins, Leland Stanford, Phillip Armour, and Edwin Markham were among well-known men who contributed to Placerville's history, as did John A. 'Snowshoe' Thompson, who carried from 60 to 80 pounds of mail on skis from Placerville over the Sierra to Carson Valley during winter months.

2011 PAL Varsity Comp Basketball SEAS versus Holy Spirit

The SEAS Eagles played their fifth league game against the Holy Spirit Bears. Shooting 11.5% from the field, the Eagles lost to the Bears ten days ago in the Presentation Tournament by the score of 32 to 16.

On the strength of 22 points from a funky looking guard with a Kevin Martin-esque shot, the Bears ran out to a 41 to 26 lead at the end of the third quarter. The guard had 4 three pointers and was 4 for 5 from the free throw line.

The game turned in the fourth quarter. While the Eagles fielded 14 players, Holy Spirit had only 6 players. You can see the Bears wearing down as the game progressed. Putting on an aggressive full court press and pushing the ball on offense, the Eagles outscored the Bears 20 to 9 in the fourth quarter.

Unfortunately, the rally fell just short. SEAS lost to Holy Spirit by the score of 50 to 46. The box score is here.

Jack ended up playing 7 minutes of the 28 minute game. He was 1 for 3 from two point range and 0 for 1 from three point range for 2 points.

The SEAS Eagles now have 6 wins and 5 losses for the season. The game log is here.

2011 Kings versus Celtics

Larkin and I went to the Sacramento Kings versus Boston Celtics NBA basketball game. It was a very entertaining game. As Larkin pointed out before the tip-off, there were probably four future hall of famers on the court for the Celtics: Shaq; Garnett; Pierce, and; Allen.

The Kings kept the game interesting. With 58 seconds left in the third quarter, the Kings led by the score of 71 to 70. The Kings got outscored 21 to 19 in the fourth quarter and lost by the score of 95 to 90.

Ray Allen led all scorers with 22 points on 9 for 15 from two point range and 4 for 7 from three point range. I love to watch Allen shoot. Larkin, Cindy, Sharon, Jack and I saw him put the Sonics on his back in a play-off game against the Kings and score 45 points.

Tyreke Evans and DeMarcus Cousins both had 20 points for the Kings. Evans was 6 for 13 from two point range, 2 for 2 from three point range and 6 for 8 from the free throw line, while Cousins was 7 for 14 from two point range, 1 for 2 from three point range and 5 for 6 from the free throw line.

It was a nice crowd. While not as many as the Laker fans earlier this year, I was surprised at the number of Celtics fans wearing green. Except for some seats in the corners of the upper deck, Arco Arena was full. The box score shows the attendance at 16,482. Unlike some games earlier this year, I feel like the announced attendance was pretty accurate.

Hunter was at the game with Danny, Danny's girlfriend and a friend of Danny's. He and I spent the half-time catching up in the concourse. It has been almost 25 years since Hunter, Cindy, Larkin and I went to the Kings and Celtics game in the old arena.

The Kings now have 2 wins and 5 losses in games that I have seen in the 2010-2011 season.
