Old Greenwood

We spent the night at Holly and Van's condo at Donner Pines West. Sleeping a little later than Tuesday morning, Sharon and I went for a mile walk east along Donner Lake after a light breakfast.

The four of us had a 11:20 am tee time at Old Greenwood. After riding with Sharon on Tuesday, I rode with Van and Sharon rode with Holly. Although I felt ok on the range, it didn't translate very well to the day. It was a continuation of the back nine at Gray's Crossing. I couldn't get started. I couldn't string together a couple of solid shots in a row. I struggled. I was in the sand on five of the first nine holes!

It was a beautiful course, but the pin placements were very difficult. Putting was an adventure for all of us.

After golf, the four of us stopped back at the condo. We loaded up the car and headed home. Sharon and I were back in Carmichael before 6:30 pm.

Playing two days in a row has always been a struggle for me.

I am starting some golf lessons on Monday...
