Leaving the East Coast in the morning, the Nooters flew from Washington DC to Dallas to Burbank to Sacramento. They pulled up at our house in Carmicheal after 5 pm. The Nooters are staying with us for the next two nights.
Sharon made a great dinner of cornflake chicken, scalloped potatoes and brocolli. The four of us spent a long evening on the back deck visiting and catching up.
We are kicking off ten days celebrating my retirement. Last fall, Drew organized a return to Lake Almanor. More on the history of this trip and its significance in my life on Saturday.
