Sleeping late and moving slow, Sharon and I eventually had breakfast at the Stanford Court. We split a breakfast burrito and a granola bowl.
Packing up the room and calling for the car, we drove to Jack's apartment. We spent some time visiting with him before starting for home.
Although Sharon had talked about having lunch at Swans Oyster Depot in the city, we ended up having a late lunch at Matteo's in Carmichael. We both had Lamb Burger [Pink Peppercorn and Cumin Seasoned Fresh Ground Leg of Lamb Burger with Feta Cheese, Chimichurri Aioli, House Pickles, Red Onion, Tomato and Arugula].
We were home by 2:30 pm. It was a great couple of days. I really enjoyed having a chance to celebrate Jack's 25th birthday with him!
