2008 Laguna Youth Baseball Travelers All Star Tryout #2

Still feeling under the weather, Jack went to the second try-outs for the Laguna U9 Travelers All Star Team. Sharon said that he did well, looking good at the plate and making some nice plays in the field. As I told Wallen and Nooter, there are probably 10 or more kids who look over matched and at least four kids who look very strong. With two coaches sons and a team of 12 players, there are probably more than a dozen kids competing for six spots; Jack clearly falls into this middle ground. From watching the first try-outs, I would have a hard time making the selections. We will know by the end of the week.
